Project Description
Bursa West Wastewater Treatment Plant is built in accordance with the five-stage Bardenpho process (Phoredox) to serve a population equivalent to 650,000 residents. An average daily volume of 87,500 m3 of wastewater is treated at the plant.
The plant consists of the following units:
- Coarse Grid,
- First-Stage Pumping Station, Fine Grids, Sand-Holding Tanks,
- Pretreatment Unit consisting of Second-Stage Pumping Station,
- Flow Measuring Channels,
- Selector and Anaerobic Tanks Aerated Lagoons,

- Final Settling Tanks,

- Service and Fire Hydrant Tank and Pumping Station,
