Project Description
Built by Emlak Bank in Bahçeşehir to preserve the Küçükçekmece Lake basin, which provides drinking water to Istanbul, the Bahçeşehir Biological Wastewater Treatment Plant was commissioned in 2000. In 2004, İSKİ began to operate the plant. In the same year, the plant underwent an extensive upgrade and all mechanical equipment in the facility was replaced. Currently, the plant has a daily average flow capacity of 7,400 m³.
