Capacity: 77.760 m³/ day
Project Description
Wastewater collected in the Üsküdar district, located on the southwest bank of the Bosphorus, between Beylerbeyi, Haydarpaşa and the E5 motorway, is treated at the Üsküdar Wastewater Pretreatment Plant with a flow rate of 77.760 m³ /day. The pretreatment process includes the separation of solid waste, sand and foam found in wastewater. Pretreated wastewater is then discharged through a deep-sea outfall at a depth of 47 meters into the undercurrent of the Bosphorus, which flows toward the Black Sea.
