YENIKÖY (KARACABEY) WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT CONSTRUCTION, ORHANGAZI AND İZNIK WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANTS CAPACITY INCREASE CONSTRUCTION WORK

Yeniköy (Karacabey) WWTP

The plant will be newly constructed and the construction work will include the construction of pre-treatment units such as screens and aeration sand and grease traps, bio-P tanks with chemical dosing system, aeration and settling tanks, sand filters and disinfection units, sludge dewatering units and auxiliary structures such as transformers, generators and management buildings. The capacity of the WWTP will be 4,400 m3 /day.

Orhangazi WWTP

 The existing plant has a capacity of around 17,000 m3 /day and is intended to increase its capacity to 51,000 m3 /day. The capacity increase work will include the construction of pre-treatment units such as screens and aeration sand-grease traps; bio-P tanks with the chemical dosing system, and aeration and settling tanks; disc filters and disinfection units, sludge dewatering units and auxiliary structures such as transformers, generators, and management buildings.

İznik WWTP

 The existing plant capacity increase works will include the construction of pretreatment units such as screens and aeration sand-grease traps; process units, drum screens, anaerobic, anoxic (denitrification), membrane bioreactor (MBR) and treated water tanks, sludge dewatering units and auxiliary structures such as transformers, generators, and management buildings. The current capacity of İznik WWTP is around 9,000 m3 /day. The final capacity of the WWTP will be 24,000 m3 /day.
